The LFC Foundation is the official charity of Liverpool Football Club. Building on the Club’s work in the community over the past 20 years, the charity was established to harness the power and passion our fans and supporters have to improve the lives of others. Working in areas of high need and deprivation across the Liverpool City Region (LCR), their mission is to create life changing opportunities for young people and families both home and away by creating sustainable and long-term change for communities and to ensure that its work continues to benefit future generations. The LFC Foundation team delivers 38 programmes across schools, community venues and public spaces, with over 140 sessions provided every week. Their focus revolves around six key impact areas to create long term and sustainable change for our communities now, and for generations to come. These are: Sport and Physical Activity, Health and Wellbeing, Education and Life Skills, Employment and Training, Youth Interventions and Community Engagement. Where The Money Goes Over the past 12 months they have supported over 50,400 people with almost two thirds of participants residing in the top 20% most deprived areas of the country. 85% of the LFC Foundation’s participants have recorded an improvement in their mental and physical health.
