Founded in Lyon on the 3rd of August, 1950, Olympique Lyonnais - also commonly known as Lyon - is a French football club currently managed by Pierre Sage. The team compete in Ligue 1 and play their home matches at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, a stadium which at full capacity can hold 59,186 fans. The 24-25 Lyon kit is sponsored by Adidas and features the club logo from 2006, which depicts the lion from the city’s coat of arms standing beside a capitalised “L”.
