Clubs around the world unite in pink for Pink October!

The global sports community is coming together this month to support the Pink October initiative. Athletes from various disciplines are kitted out in pink to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer.

In France, rugby team Montpellier Hérault Rugby took to the pitch in full-pink uniforms on their first league match in October, while football giants AS SAINT ETIENNE also expressed their solidarity with the cause by debuting unique Pink October shirts themselves during the most recent Derby Rhône-Alpes.

On the other side of the world, Mexican football giants Pumas | Club Universidad Nacional and Club América put their rivalry aside and both showed their support towards the movement by wearing exclusive shirts during their clash in the Clásico Capitalino last week. Both produced by Nike the one-off kits featured all-pink numbers on the back of the shirts, further symbolising the international unity behind the campaign.
