This suit was worn during Il Lombardia in 2023. Just 30 minutes into the 217km classic, Evenepoel was involved in a crash with Sjoerd Bax (UAE Team Emirates) and Giovanni Aleotti (Bora-Hansgrohe) on a winding section of the course. As a result, this suit bears some damage from the crash. Despite a bloodied knee and elbow, he remounted his bike after receiving support from his Soudal-QuickStep teammates and medical attention from the race doctor. After the incident, captured only by a roadside spectator, Evenepoel pressed on, rejoining the peloton after losing over three minutes.
