Pumas: celebrating Mexican Independence in style!

It is safe to assume that some of modern football’s greatest kits come from the Liga 
MX, Mexico’s incredibly entertaining, passion-rich top flight.

To satisfy our high expectations, at the beginning of the season, Pumas UNAM and 
Nike released an instant classic.

The plain white shirt with navy blue details from 2020/21 morphed into an elegant 
polo shirt, with azul details and, drumroll please, a massive golden puma on the 
front. A special mention goes to Nike for realising these beauties using recycled 
materials in an effort to reduce carbon emissions. Class.


If that wasn’t enough, on the occasion of the 2021 Mexican Independence day 
celebrated on September 16th, the Mexican tricolor appears on the rear of the 
jerseys to form a unique shirt. A real collector’s item.
