Founded in 1993, the club was originally called San Vicente CFF before ultimately being renamed to Levante shortly after winning its first domestic championship in the first division! Following their “rookie” success, the team went on a historic run, winning 3 league championships and 6 Copa de la Reina titles between 1997 and 2008, including two domestic doubles in 2001 and 2002. Their rise to stardom was legendary and marked one of football’s greatest “Cinderella stories”!
Nowadays, the team is, arguably, even better than before! Led by Spanish coach Ángel Villacampa, the star-studded squad features Brazilian super-talent Giovana Queiroz, Macedonia’s National Football Team captain Nataša Andonova and two-time UEFA’s Golden Player winner Sandie Toletti among others. The star-studded squad has consistently finished in the top 3 of the league in the past few years and is looking to secure their 4th league title during the 2021/2022 campaign!
