Arbeidsmigranten Qatar (FNV)

Vakbond FNV neemt deel in BWI (Building and Wood Workers’ International) en is zo al tenminste tien jaar betrokken bij de arbeidsmigranten in Qatar. Daarom gaat de KNVB het geld aanbieden aan de FNV, zodat de opbrengsten daadwerkelijk worden aangewend om de situatie van de arbeiders te verbeteren. De FNV is goed bekend met de problematiek in de regio en staat in persoonlijk contact met arbeidsmigranten. Het geld van de geveilde shirts wordt gebruikt om de rechten van de arbeidsmigranten te beschermen. Verder wordt het geld ook besteed aan juridische hulp aan en persoonlijke ontwikkeling van de arbeidsmigranten. Ook sociale activiteiten (zoals voetbal) worden uit de opbrengsten gefinancierd.

Migrant workers Qatar (FNV)

Trade union FNV participates in BWI (Building and Wood Workers' International) and has been involved with migrant workers in Qatar for at least ten years. Therefore the KNVB will donate the funds raised to the FNV, so that the proceeds can be used to improve the situation of the workers. The FNV is well acquainted with the challenges in the region and is in personal contact with migrant workers. More specifically, the money will be used to protect the rights of the migrant workers. Furthermore, it will go towards legal aid and personal development. Social activities (such as football) will be financed from the proceeds as well.
