Celebrating a centenary of the Scottish Poppy Appeal!
Nowadays, the Poppy has become one of the most recognisable symbols of solidarity, hope and remembrance and on November 11th, countries around the globe come together to honour the annual Poppy Appeal. In Scotland, the Scottish Poppy Appeal has become the country’s largest charity street collection initiative raising more than £2 million each year.
To showcase their support towards the campaign, Scottish football clubs take the initiative to commemorate their fellow servicemen by wearing poppy-embroidered shirts during games leading up to Remembrance weekend. From Falkirk FC to Kilmarnock FC, teams from across the country have united behind the honourable cause.
These special match-worn shirts have all been signed by the respective players and are now open for bids on our platform! We are excited to see that even more teams are participating in our charitable auctions!
