La edición 2023 del Encuentro se realizará en beneficio de la Fundación Española del Corazón (FEC) para recaudar fondos destinados a la campaña ‘PACTOS por tu corazón’, que pone el foco en la necesidad de evitar los principales factores de riesgo cardiovascular.
“La enfermedad cardiovascular es la principal causa de muerte en el mundo y también en España. Sin embargo, el 80% de estas muertes prematuras se pueden prevenir con hábitos de vida saludables, que incluyen una buena alimentación y ejercicio físico desde la infancia. En este sentido, es preocupante el dato de la encuesta ESFEC que pone de manifiesto que el 51% de los menores de 15 años son sedentarios”, explica el Dr. Andrés Íñiguez, presidente de la Fundación Española del Corazón.
