Observatório da Discriminação Racial no FutebolVoluntary project created in 2014 that understands football as an important instrument for social inclusion and the fight against violence and racial discrimination. In this way, bservatório aims to take advantage of the strength of the most popular sport Brazil to discuss racism and other forms of discrimination, in addition to demonstrating that previous prejudiced conduct is a serious impediment to the democratization of social relations in sport and the construction of a more egalitarian and fraternal society.
The Observatório is recognized in the academic and sports world for its work of engagement in the fight against racism and has in the Annual Report on Racial Discrimination in Football, a systematic analysis of discriminatory incidents in sport, its main research and information work.
