The Magical Debut of the ‘City of Lights’

On January 23rd, Paris Saint-Germain debuted their highly-anticipated new 4th kit in a friendly game against Cristiano Ronaldo's Riyadh All-Star XI for the Riyadh Season Cup. The new kit, inspired by the stunning birds-eye view of Paris at night, paid homage to the City of Lights, a nickname Paris has held since the 17th century. You can check them out here.

This latest release marks the 10th kit in the PSG x Jordan collaboration, a journey that began in 2018 and has since become one of the most successful sports-fashion partnerships. The new 4th kit features a bold black background with geometrical yellow-gold lines darting in all directions, intersecting and crossing each other, depicting a unique graphic design inspired by the City of Lights. The iconic Jordan brand logo and PSG badge are also rendered in yellow-gold, adding a striking contrast to the black background.

But the kit reveal wasn’t the only historic moment of the match. It was also likely the last time that football legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will face each other on the field, after dominating the sport for over a decade. The matchup between these two football icons is one that has transcended the sport and become a part of popular culture.

The match ended 5-4 in favour of PSG, with goals from Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Marquinhos, Kylian Mbappé, and Hugo Ekitiké. Ronaldo also delivered with not one, but two goals, ensuring a highly competitive match-up, especially with the help of tried and tested veterans Luiz Gustavo, Moussa Marega, and Anderson Talisca.

The new PSG 4th kit is now available for purchase and is a must-have for any PSG or football fashion enthusiast. If you don’t want to miss an opportunity to own a match-worn piece of history, grab the new PSG 4th kit today and become part of the unforgettable last dance between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
