The Belgian Red Flames are making history!

The Belgian Red Flames are burning brighter than ever!  Having established themselves as one of the best women’s national football teams in recent years, the Belgian Red Flames are looking to book their spot at the 2023 World Cup! With 4 wins in their last 6 qualifying matches, the Red Flames are currently on track to make history and make their first ever World Cup appearance!  The achievement would represent a remarkable moment in Belgian sport’s history and would exemplify just how talented the team really is!

Speaking of making history, Janice Cayman is actually making history every time she steps on the pitch!  Born in 1988, the creative midfielder is the team’s current all-time record holder for appearances with over 100 international caps! Recently, the Belgians also set the record for the largest scoreline in a women's World Qualifying match by beating Armenia 19-0!

The team’s most recent international appearance had a similar ring to it as the Red Flames managed to secure a convincing victory over group rivals Poland, getting one step closer to playing on the biggest stage in football! The match-worn & signed shirts from their 4-0 victory are now available on our platform, with the proceeds being donated to the Belgian Red Courts initiative.

The project’s main focus is to bring communities together and increase the inclusion and citizenship among young people through the power of football. The raised funds will be used for the implementation of education football programmes and the renovation of more than 40 football courts across Belgium!
