Founded in Jalisco on the 8th of May, 1906, Chivas Guadalajara - also commonly known as Chivas - is a Mexican football club currently managed by Óscar García Junyent. They compete in the Liga MX and play their home matches at Estadio Akron, which at full capacity can hold 46,355 fans. The 24-25 Chivas Guadalajara kit is sponsored by Puma and features a club logo unveiled in 2020, which depicts a shield topped by a knight’s helmet emerging from a roundel of red and white stripes.
