Founded in Lisbon on the 1st of July, 1906, Sporting CP - also commonly known as Leões (Lions) - is a Portuguese football club currently coached by Rúben Amorim. Sporting CP compete in Liga Portugal and play their home matches at the Estádio José Alvalade, which at full capacity can hold 50,095 fans. The 24-25 Sporting CP kit is sponsored by Nike and features a club logo unveiled in 2001, depicting a golden lion on a green shield, an animal which symbolises their motto: Esforço, Dedicação, Devoç...
