Legendary Premier League Strikers on MatchWornShirt

It is fair to say that the discussion, of who the best Premier League striker of all time is, is an infinite one that would never reach a conclusion. Nonetheless, there are two names that could absolutely not be excluded from the list: Sergio Agüero and Wayne Rooney. The Argentinian goal-getter has scored a total of 181 goals in 271 games for Manchester City. A stat is bound to keep rising. The recently retired, three Lions legend, Wayne Rooney has scored a total of 208 goals in 491 games in the Premier League, for both Everton and Manchester United. After a spell in the United States, Rooney returned to English football, at the beginning of 2020, at Derby County, where he is now the interim manager.

On the 29th of February 2020 the team from Derbyshire faced Sheffield Wednesday. After the game, Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme received the worn and signed shirt from England’s all-time top scorer. This also happened after a game between Sheffield and Manchester City, where Sergio Agüero gave his shirt to the club’s Community Programme, after scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup tie, back in March 2020.

The amazing thing is that these shirts are now available to fans! The shirts of the two Premier League legends are currently available on our platform, together with the entire Sheffield Wednesday team. The match-worn and signed SWFC shirts are from the game against Norwich City, on March 14th, 2021.

The shirts are real eye-catchers, with the classic white and blue stripes, and would look good on any wall! Nonetheless, the shirts of Agüero and Rooney do steal the show. Manchester City played in their beautiful 19-20 away kit, whereas Derby County played in their well-known black kits.
