After an up-and-down season during his first year in charge, the German would then go on to lead the team to their 19th top-flight title and their first since the 1989-1990 season. Following that achievement, the Reds also showcased their prowess on the international stage by winning their 6th Champions League trophy and establishing themselves as one of the best teams in the world. ??
Despite their impressive track record over the past few seasons, Liverpool are showing no signs of slowing down and are seemingly getting better by the day! Earlier this week, the Reds managed to take down AC Milan to become the first English team in history to win all 6 group games in a Champions League campaign. The match at the San Siro also marked the first time that a Liverpool player has managed to score in 5 European fixtures in the same season, as Mohamed Salah found the back of the net during yet another stellar performance by the Egyptian! ??
