In the memory of Franck

For Frank 👏

August 13, 2021, was a sad day for football with the passing of Franck Berrier due to a heart attack. The ‘Little General’ kicked off his career in France with FC Caen, then made his move to the Belgian pro league where he spent most of his time with KV Oostende playing 155 matches, banking 19 goals, and 14 assists.

For his one-year remembrance, his wife and children kicked-off from the center spot in KV Oostende’s match against KAA Gent on Friday the 12th of August with the club dedicating a memorial section in the C-stands.

During his football career, Franck collected shirts from several teams across Europe which are currently up for auction, raising funds for ‘Ligue Cardiologique Belge / Belgische Cardiologische Liga’ to help the prevention of death from cardiovascular diseases and guide patients after a cardiovascular problem.
